Attila the Pun destroyed puns throughout Xanth and was the boyfriend of Pundora. When Princess Dawn informed him he was a pun, he destroyed himself. Pundora had been sleeping with Piper to keep Attila alive. When Pundora found out Attila was dead and why, she swore vengeance upon Dawn.
Attila has many brothers and sisters: Battila the Bun, Fattila the Fun, Gattila the Gun, Hattila the Hun, Nattila the Nun, Pattila the Un, Rattila the Run, and Sattila the Sun. Attila stole Pattila's "P".[1]
